Hi! I offer haircuts and dreadlock services. I have several years experience with hair cutting, specifically with shorter cuts like bobs, pixies, clippers cuts/fades, and any short style.
If you are on your dreadlock journey or are curious to start yours, I would love to assist you. I welcome everyone with every hair type on every stage of their journey. Whether you have never had professional maintenance before, or you just need a root touch up, I am here to help. I apprenticed under another professional dreadlock artist for 6 months in 2019 where I honed in my skills of locking hair with a small crochet hook. I love to use this method of locking the hair because it is inclusive of all hair textures.
I specialize in every area of lock work. This includes repairs and re-sectioning, root maintenance and body work, detoxes to deeply clean the hair, braid in installations with synthetic/temporary styles, decorating locks with hair wraps and beads, and finally, natural dreadlock installs creating locks with only the hair growing from your head and extension installs that extend your natural locks with human hair that I can custom make for you or you can source on your own.
When I’m not doing hair, I am hiking around the area, attending shows/concerts/soundbaths, doing yoga and pilates, or reading about herbalism, physics, metaphysics, astrology, numerology, philosophy, etc. I love to meet new people from all walks of life and choosing hair styling as a career has brought me so much joy in being able to connect with others.
