"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts."
Born and raised in Macon, Georgia, I moved to these mountains 10 years ago and found my home.
I've spent the last 12 years in the industry, specializing in hair for 9 years.
Hair is meant to be worn, lived in; it's a part of you. I love to work with hair, not against it. I want your hair to be as effortless as possible, to look as great from the moment you leave my chair until you sit back in it. To be you, slightly enhanced.
I have a passion for color - natural looking, lived in color. I love enhancing hair using hair painting and balayage. I love everything about color, from using the perfect tone to brighten your complexion or bring out that golden shimmer in your eyes, to helping cover or blend those sparkles that time has brought with it. I love creating healthy, beautiful color whether you were born with it or not. With my scissors, I love bringing out natural texture, enhancing and encouraging curls and waves, and giving straight hair a little play. I believe that hair is an expression of self; I want to work with you to create a look that's you, just slightly enhanced.
I feel passionately about people and look at my ability to do hair as an extension of that passion. When I was 13 I had my first really great cut and color, it changed my world. I remember looking in the mirror when my stylist was finished and for the first time feeling good about the image being reflected. For me, helping people appreciate their own beauty is what hair is all about.
I love the warmth that radiates from the culture of hair and being a part of an industry where we play a part in helping to bring everyone into their own. I love people, no matter who you are or where you come from, you are welcome. All are welcome. More than welcome; you are invited.
